Monday...

I know, its quiet :o) We have a young friend undergoing surgery today and consequently we have a house full of kiddos :o) Its a bit busy around here and unfortunatly I don't have much time for photographs and web activity.

I am still working...Amber, your gal is finished and ready for her final pics. Theresa, I am working on your gal today :o) Also, Carrinna, Fae's clothes are gonna be sewn soon. I might have pics up tonight, but in all honesty, I think the odds are more in favor of tomorrow :o)

See ya all later..

Peace

October Giveaway... Marina

We had so much fun last month reading all the posts we decided to carry it through another month :o)

This month we are giving away Marina...a Waldorf Inspired mermaid

Her skin is tan interlock knit, her tail is cotton velour and her top is a tie on style made from cotton jersey knit. She is stuffed with wool.

Her hair is a mix of varied loopy bouclez yarn and worsted weight deep green for color.

So here is what ya gotta do...

1. be a blog follower

2. post a comment to this post

3. in the post include your favorite beach or lake or water area...Marina, being a mermaid loves water :o) so we want to hear about your favorite place to go to play in the water

Its pretty simple :o)

Marina's new family will be chosen on the 31st of this month.

Good luck

Estelle & Lucille - Lalan's girls :o)

Now that we have names for them I thought I would use them :o)

I was able to reuse two of the outfits you sent along...

Here is Lucille, I resized the back and front of the romper then I cut the legs off and reused them as the sleeves :o) It fits wonderfully :o)

Estelle is lovely in her refitted toddler dress :o) I was able to reuse the original hemline to give it that "authentic" look :o)

Both girls have flared pants...though it doesn't show up so well in the images...they were made from the denim jeans you sent along :o)

Pretty good, huh?

I am off to go play with my kiddos for a while before dinner...I will pick it up again tomorrow. It will be Trudy's turn then :o)

Lelan's Gang :o)

I worked late yesterday on them...I wanted to make sure I had lots of time to work on the resizing of the clothing :o) Here they are as of this morning...

I have to tell you that this baby has caused quite a stir around here...she is so cute. She feels great to hold too :o) She is going to be hard to send off :o)

I love seeing the three of them together...

So, today I will begin working on the clothing for these three. They are all going to have resized clothing. This part will be the slower part of the whole process. So far though, I think they are coming along rather nicely :o)

Lelan's Trio Today

I worked on them all day yesterday and this is how far they were along as of last night :o) Two older kiddos and one baby. Just like three siblings :o)

Here is a closer look at the baby. No button joints, all the limbs are firmly sewn into the body. She is weighted and sits up sweetly all on her own.

I will have more images tomorrow :o)
