The Story of The Lost Kids...

There once was a small group of children who lived in the woods, who decided they never wanted to grow up.

They wanted to live in a world filled with endless days playing in the sun, staying up late telling stories and taking long adventurous walks thru the woods.

They loved dressing up and pretending to be their favorite woodland creatures so much, that they decided that these would be the only clothes they would wear.  Good luck getting them to willingly put anything else on :)

Each child chose a different woodland creature....a bear, fox, rabbit, turtle, skunk, deer, wolf, hedgehog squirrel and field mouse.

They come in all shapes and sizes....some are bigger and some are small.

They are Babies, Pixies, Sprites, Jewelwings and Imps

They are lighter skinned, darker skinned and all colors in between.

Some love to dig in the dirt, others love lounging in the meadow watching the clouds roll by.  Still others love to run as fast as they are able and of course, there are the ones who love to climb as high as they possibly can.

Each one is very different from the other.

After many weeks of play, they have all finally decided that it was time to find a home of their own.  A place where they can snuggle up at night with a best friend and have a story read to them as they drift off to sleep.  A place where they can have great adventures with their best friend...adventures they would never forget.

It is time for them to go home.  Their more detailed preview pics were posted in our Wednesday morning newsletter...and will be posted online on Wednesday at 5:00 pm central US time.

These cuties will be available for adoption on Thursday at 4:00 pm central US time.  Come join us and take one home....

Imps!

Introducing the newest members of our DFH family...

Imps!

I can say without a doubt they are truly adorable.

But don't take my word for it, let me show you their little details...

First up....they stand about 14 inches tall (give or take being handmade).  They are super slender....the same width around as our Sprites.

They have long super slender legs with big feet that are roughly the size of our Jewelwings.  They also have our unique leg joints, so they can move freely.

Their arms are gangly and slender as well with fairly large hands.  They too have our joints for free movement.

Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you....they do indeed have ears

Oh and yes, a chin...and of course butt cheeks :)

There will be a few available each week (maybe 5 total) both randomly and in our themed RTG Thursday uploads....so keep an eye out for them.

Sorry, they are not available as MTO so when you see one you want, don't hesitate.

These guys are a LOT of fun....they are made with the 8-10 year old age group in mind.  They have been a HUGE hit with my two younger kiddos and their friends.

We hope you love them as much as we do...keep your eyes open for their debut this week :)

Dibs!

Dibs!

Some of you will recall we used to have a program called Dibs!

Well,  It's back!

Starting the first week of October 2014, every two weeks, we will be mailing out one Dibs! card to one lucky mama or papa.

But this time we have an even better twist for you....

Dibs!  holders will not only be able to pull a doll of any size from one of our Thursday RTG uploads....you will also get that doll completely free of charge...

Yep, a FREE doll!

Now, there are a few basic rules....

1) When you receive your Dibs! card, you will have two (2) weeks to claim your doll.  We have to set a time limit so we can allow other folks a chance as well.  Once the two weeks are up, your card is invalid and can no longer be used...so be sure to use your card.

2) This Dibs! code is only valid for our Thursday RTG uploads.  It cannot be used to claim any of our randomly released items.  It is also not valid for any MTO items.

3)  Dibs! codes are NOT transferrable.  They are only valid for use by the original person the code was issued to.

4) You will have until 12:00 pm central on RTG upload day (Thursday) to call Dibs!  The doll must be claimed in the online shop by that time as well.

5) To Claim your Dibs!  Send us an email with your Dibs! code and the name or details of the doll you are claiming.  Send your email to this address...

billing@dragonflyshollow.com

OK, so how do you enter to receive one of these Dibs! cards?

You simply go to our Dibs!  page on our website and submit your info.  Here is the link...

We will randomly choose the lucky winners every two weeks.

We cannot tell you how excited we are to be doing this.  We hope you all are excited too.

So, go ahead and submit your info....and keep an eye out in your mail, you never know, you could be receiving a Dibs! card in the mail.

Mama Mades

You all remember Mama Mades?

For those of you who are new to DFH, years ago we had a line of dolls called Mama Mades.

These were blank, fully assembled bodies purchased from us, that you finished yourself with the help of our full length how to videos on our private blog.  We even used to have our own FB group just to share progress pics and ask for tips and pointers.

It was so much fun seeing the little creations come to life with their own unique personalities.

Here are some pics we had of some of the finished cuties.

We stopped offering Mama Mades a couple years ago.  Right about the time we moved into the shop.  Many of you remember, I have toyed with the idea of putting together a Mama Made session in our shop in Denton.  Time just never seemed to allow for planning and putting one together.

Well, time has changed and we are finally able to do it!

I am so super excited to announce that we will indeed be having a Mama Made session in our Denton, TX shop on

Saturday October 18, 2014!

from 9:30 to 3:00 or so.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by one of our awesome local food establishments here in Denton.

So how will this work?

First of all, this will not be the same old Mama Made from years ago...it will be a revamped version.  You will assemble your own body...you will not be making the heads or cutting out patterns.  (it's not a doll making workshop, so that will already be done for you in advance)

Basically, you choose your body style... Pixie, Sprite or Jewelwing.  Next, you choose your skin tone (choose from any color we offer)

Then you let us know what kind of hair you want him or her to have.  We will have our super awesome crocheting mamas make up your wig for you and it will be on hand waiting for you the day of the session.

The day of our session, you arrive and we help you assemble your body.  Don't worry, I will be on hand along with some of the ladies to help you.

Once your body is assembled, you will get to pick your eye and mouth color....and yes, you will sew those on as well :)

After that is done, you will attach your wig.  And finally, you choose your clothes and dress your cutie to take home with you :)

Don't worry, like I said, I will be there along with some of the ladies and we will make sure you have all the help you need to make your cutie special.

I am totally excited....this will be a fun day for all of us :)

Spots will be limited to a small group...this way we can enjoy the time together and we can give everyone the help they may need.

I will be posting the spots in our shop on Tuesday (9/16)  Feel free to email us or message with any questions you may have.
